One example of carb-counting is cake. Let’s say, we are making a box of Pillsbury Funfetti Cake. If it says 10 servings per container. A serving is 1/10. A slice at the 1/10 per serving is 35 carbs. “350 carbs for 1 whole cake”, if you cut it into 10 servings. But let’s say you make it 12 servings.
Then you divide 350 by 12. That makes each serving 29.1666….so I round up to 30 carbs per slice of cake.
However, this is without the frosting. So, depending on the frosting you use and how many carbs that is, you would add that to the carb count for the cake… and any extras too, like ice cream or berries.
Try to keep the serving sizes as close to equal as possible, that helps when carb counting.

Very helpful! I need to learn how all this works. Does it matter if it is a complex carb or is it ALL carbs. Thank you for your information. ❤️
